Landscape Component Analysis

I am interested in using technology to examine aesthetic tropes. Looking at landscape I wonder if there is a pattern to what scenes we find remarkable. In this body of work I uncover secrets of landscape by taking Principle Component Analysis software, usually used in data mining to compare and analyze large amounts of images, on landscape photographs. The resulting images show the strongest commonalities among the multiple images and create a new composite landscape.
